At Godchaux Ranch, our horses are developed with a long-term vision for success. From the foundation stages of starting young horses to advancing elite competition prospects, our program is focused on producing exceptional athletes for reining, reined cow horse, and cutting. Guided by experienced horsemen and world-class trainers, each horse is given the time, preparation, and individual attention needed to reach its highest potential. Our show horse program reflects a commitment to excellence across multiple disciplines, with horses in training under some of the most accomplished horsemen in the industry. In reining, we are proud to work with Casey Deary, a four-time NRHA Open Futurity Champion and NRHA $6 Million Rider, known for his consistency, feel, and ability to develop elite horses, alongside Matt Mills, whose career has been defined by major wins, championships, and the development of top-level competitors.

Within the reined cow horse, our program includes horses in training with Jay McLaughlin, whose program is respected for producing versatile, high-level athletes across all three events.

Our aim is to diversify our program with the best in each discipline, developing horses with the talent, foundation, and preparation to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
